Right below you’ll find my mini mushroom free crochet pattern. This last free crochet tutorial puts an end to the goodies I planned for the release of my forest animals mini-collection 🙂
Abbreviations used in the pattern
- st : stitch
- ch : chain
- sc : single crochet
- inc : increase
- dec : decrease
Pattern reading and notes
- [xx] : the number between the square brackets shows the total stitches you should have at the end of the row/round.
- (xxx) x 2 : the instructions between brackets should be repeated across the round a certain number of times (in this instance : twice).
Amigurumi mushroom : the foot
- Rd 1 : 5 sc in a magic ring [5]
- Rd 2 : inc in all [10]
- Rd 3 : (1 sc, 1 inc) x 5 [15]
- Rds 4 – 8 : sc in all [15]
- Rd 9 : (1 sc, 1 dc) x5 [10]
- Rds 10 – 12 : sc in all [10]
Fasten off.
Stuff firmly the foot.
Mushroom top part
- Rd 1 : 5 sc in a magic ring [5]
- Rd 2 : inc in all [10]
- Rd 3 : (1 sc, 1 inc) x 5 [15]
- Rd 4 : (2 sc, 1 inc) x 5 [20]
- Rd 5 : (3 sc, 1 inc) x 5 [25]
- Rd 6 : (4 sc, 1 inc) x 5 [30]
- Rd 7 : (5 sc, 1 inc) x 5 [35]
- Rd 8 : (6 sc, 1 inc) x 5 [40]
- Rd 9 : (7 sc, 1 inc) x 5 [45]
- Rds 10 – 11 : sc in all [45]
Fasten off.
Bottom of the mushroom top part
Use the same color you chose for the foot.
- Rd 1 : 6 sc in a MR [6]
- Rd 2 : (1 sc, 1 inc) x3 [9]
- Rd 3 : inc in all [18]
- Rd 4 : (1 sc, 1 inc) x9 [27]
- Rd 5 : (2 sc, 1 inc) x9 [36]
- Rd 6 : (3 sc, 1 inc) x9 [45]
- Rd 7 : sc in all [45]
Fasten off.
Sew the mushroom top part with its bottom, stuffing it as you go. Finally, sew the foot to the bottom.
